Welcome to the Inverkip War Memorial website.  We are delighted to launch this website which has given me the opportunity to collate all the extensive research findings since this project began in 2016 into one central location.

The project has grown to include not only the 29 men listed on the war memorial but other Inverkip-related servicemen, the memorial itself and information relating to Inverkip Church and Inverkip School but the purpose has always remained the same; to tell the stories behind the names. The war memorial is a central part of the history of Inverkip and it is hoped that by sharing the research to a much wider audience, it will give a new perspective to this granite monument.
